BOM Product Approaval Package Submitted!!

Hello BOMers,

The Product Approval Package (PAP) has been submitted to the SAC!! This includes both the "Guide for BOM Use and Implementation", and the "BOM Template Specification." This is the final step for the PDG/DG. We now get to wait on the SAC to review and approve, and then the EXCOM to approve. If we are successful with both of these - then we have completed our mission - and the BOM Standard and Guide will be final!!

I would like to thank everyone again for their efforts - especially the DG as they put in extra time to finish off the incorporation of the Ballot Round Comments (as adjudicated by the PDG) so the documents could be submitted to the SAC and EXCOM in time for the Spring'2006 SISO SIW.

Keep an eye out for additional announcements as we move through the SAC and EXCOM approvals.
